EDI offer full support to users of the ASC-260 system. Using email communications with attachments as necessary, Application, Service Diagnostic and Software enhancement support is available. It is usually possible for us to pin point faults in the Spectrometer operation or identify problems associated with operator error by the running of a few simple diagnostic procedures. The accumulated data is transferred back to us via email attachment and a diagnosis report or repair procedure is returned via the same media. In many cases a costly visit by repair personnel will be avoided and any appropriate software or database fix can be directly down-loaded onto the ASC-260. Software updating and service pack modifications are transferred in the same manner. All downloads are supplied with fully automated installation utility software.

A remote station Initial Calibration curve drawing or adjustment service is also available via the internet. Raw data from the Spectrometer is collected and stored locally, then transmitted to us. The resultant curve data is then returned for direct down-loading into the ASC-260 system via the USB device port.

Facility is also offered for a remote system backup/restore service to further enhance the data security of the ASC-260. This facility can be used to fully safeguard your Analytical system files against even a catastrophic failure of local backup systems.
